Whether you have already experienced watercolour painting or if this will be the first time you have picked up a paint brush, you will find the expertly designed painting workshop fun, delightful and relaxing.
There’s no need to invest in your own art materials before you join it as they will be provided.
The watercolour painting workshop will give you the knowledge about watercolour as a painting medium, enable you to understand this medium, as a result you will feel confident to explore your creativity and express yourself through vibrant and delicate brushstrokes.
You will learn various watercolour painting techniques from wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, layering, blending, colour mixing and preserve paper colour, etc to create a beautiful Pembrokeshire coast painting and a flowery woods paintings made from the conventional pigments and the modern Iridescent and Metallic pigments made by ludlow.
During the workshop, you will create 2 paintings, one is a seascape painting on a white paper with conventional watercolours and another one is a beautiful flowery woods painting on black paper using Iridescent and Metallic Watercolours, to take home.
At the end of the workshop, you will not only have a collection of your own masterpieces but also newfound appreciation for the art of watercolour painting.
No drawing skill is required.
There will be an opportunity to purchase from a gorgeous selection of Ludlow pigments at the end of the class.
