Join us for a fun, two hour session where you will learn the basics of fused glass. Each week we’ll be making a beautiful piece for your home, or to give as a special hand-made gift.
This week we are making jewellery – you can choose your own design and colours, or we can help to inspire you!
This is an exciting and very therapeutic project, involving cutting small squares of glass and using your design skills to create beautiful compositions. When fired, these stacks of glass slump to exquisite round pebbles that can be turned into stunning jewellery or elevated by incorporating them in a future glass project.
Learn how to cut colourful pieces of glass into different shapes and create your own design, including using a grinder to smooth and refine your pieces.
We will also have a selection of pre-cut pieces if you would still like to make the project without cutting the glass first (ideal for anyone with arthritis or restricted mobility)
This class is aimed at beginners, but if you have experience in cutting fused glass before then you are more than welcome to attend.
