Full Day Throwing Workshop With Jane Sleator – Sunday 23rd Feb 2025

We are thrilled to offer this intensive one-day throwing workshop led by experienced thrower Jane Sleator! This workshop is perfect for adults who have some prior experience with throwing, If you’re new to pottery, we recommend starting with one of out taster sessions.

Workshop Schedule:

• Morning Session (10:00am-12:30pm): 2.5 hours of focused throwing practice.
• Lunch Break (12:30pm-1:00pm): Bring a packed lunch to enjoy during the break. Refreshments will be provided.
• Afternoon Session (1:00pm-3:30pm): Another 2.5 hours of throwing to refine your skills and techniques

This hands-on workshop is designed to help you develop your throwing abilities and work on creating a variety of shapes and sizes, guided by Jane or inspired by your own creativity. With just five participants in the class, you’ll have plenty of time and space to practice using our variety of pottery wheels and have full use of our pottery tools to adapt and adorn your pieces with handles, lids and surface decoration.

Your finished pieces will be fired to bisque, and glazing options will be available after the workshop for an additional fee.
